Pupil Parliament

Lord Derby Academy is delighted to introduce the Pupil Parliament for 2022-2023.   We are all very excited to build on last year’s success which saw nearly 100 pupils engaged in leadership opportunities to support initiatives across the school.  Our new Year 7 cohort have taken this opportunity in their stride with more than 55 new members joining during this academic year. Over the last year our Pupil Parliament have been very active, they have produced a number of new school initiatives including a fully recognised Equality Charter. With the calibre of applicants for all positions this year being incredibly high, we would like to thank all of those who applied and extend our warmest congratulations to the successful pupils who will help to lead the school to even greater success.
